- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Not impressed, engineer came out promptly to look at my boiler & took 5 mins to diagnose it was the main PCB that is faulty at call out charge of £74. He then advised that the PCB would be over £400 to be fitted & i was better going to the boiler manufacturer. I arranged for Ideal to come out the next day & within 5 mins he had tested & changed the spark generator which is a £30 part . I then advised Gas Point services that their engineer had mis-diagnosed the fault which has cost me a lot more money & requested they reduce the call out fee but they wouldnt budge.By grahammurray, August 05, 2018
